The Old Man of the Mountain by Max Fleischer

I had forgotten that not only is Betty Boop in the public domain, but she lives on the Internet Archive.

Just watched The Old Man of the Mountain, one of the three greatest Betty Boop cartoons, the other two, of course, being Minnie the Moocher and the immmortal Snow White. All with Cab Calloway, of course.

Now I’m happy.

Infinite Matrix

I’ve put up a new issue of the Infinite Matrix, because it’s Cory Doctorow’s birthday (just barely) and because I have these three great stories: a reprint of Doctorow’s fine Nimby and the Dimension Hoppers and two excellent stories by writers from Eastern Europe: Serbian activist and writer Yasmina Tesanovic’s charming Cats and Cars and Ukrainian SF writer Yana Dubinianska’s spine-tingling Barge over Black Water.

The zombies are quiet now. Enjoy. When I calm down little, I’ll write an editorial.
